The Arkansas Fraternal Order of Police Scholarship Committee was finally able to review all the applications for the 2020-2021 State FOP Scholarship and they utilized the same grading system as last year to make the scholarship award selections. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, this was not an easy task to accomplish.
The committee chose to award ten (10) $500.00 scholarships to existing students and ten (10) $400.00 scholarships to beginning students. I would like to thank the scholarship committee for their hard work on this project and I would like to congratulate all the students awarded scholarships.
I would also like to thank every student that applied. If you were not selected this year, please donot be discouraged and re-apply next year.
Those students awarded a scholarship will be receiving an award letter in the mail very soon with instructions on what steps they need to take to process their scholarship.
