The FOP Free College offers working families a debt-free and convenient higher education opportunity for current and retired members, and their families. Family members do NOT need to be financial dependents or living with the member to be eligible.

Eastern Gateway Community College is a public, non-profit school in the University System of Ohio and is regionally accredited by the Higher Learning Commission. Credits you earn can transfer to other schools, saving you money!
The FOP has partnered with Central State University (CSU), a regionally accredited public, non-profit university near Dayton, Ohio, and now Paul Quinn College (PQC), a private four-year, liberal arts-inspired historical Black college (HBCU) in Dallas,Texas. FOP members and their families now have an opportunity to earn a Bachelor’s degree online with no out-of-pocket costs!

The Arkansas Fraternal Order of Police is proud to offer student scholarships to eligible children of FOP members. Scholarships will be awarded to beginning freshmen and other existing college students continuing their education. The number and amount of scholarships awarded will depend on funds available each year. Scholarships may be used at any institution of higher education to defray expenses directly related to academics, to include: tuition, books, fees, and room & board.
To be eligible for a scholarship, both the parent of the applicant and their respective Lodge must be members in good standing with the Fraternal Order of Police.
The deadline for applications to be postmarked is April 1, 2022.
